General Fitness Tips

Below you'll find a list of general tips and techniques you may choose to incorporate into your fitness and training program.
- Weight Training - Higher weights and fewer repetitions accelerate the building of muscle mass. Lower weights and higher repetitions are an excellent method to tone and tighten.
- Smoothies - Having a Protein Smoothie after every workout will accelerate your benefits. It builds your muscles so that you'll burn more calories while you sleep (Resting Metabolism), and, if trying to increase muscle mass, extra protein is a necessity.
- Cardio Equipment- Build a healthy heart and respiratory system with a minimum of 30 minutes, three times a week. Cardio, prior to weight training helps prevent injuries.
- Weight Loss - For weight loss, focus on how your clothes fit rather than the scale, measure your Body Fat % and Body Mass index to see improvement in general health, as you go.
- Weight Loss - DO NOT CRASH DIET! You're apt to lose 5 pounds of muscle along with 10 pounds of fat. Once you stop dieting, the body's apt to replace the muscle loss with fatty tissue.
